Choosing Dark Sky Compliant Fixtures

Not all fixtures are created equal. Barn lights, cobra heads, wall packs, sconces, flood lights, and post tops each have compliant and non-compliant versions. The key criteria: fully shielded (zero uplight), lamp below the fixture lip, and color temperature ≤2700K. Our Volunteer Training Manual includes a full fixture-by-fixture replacement guide with specific product recommendations.
